Meet the founder
Hi, I'm Ronnie. 👋
I'm 14, and I kind of lose everything. 😉
So I wanted to come up with something that I would actually use, and that my friends would think was cool too.
Because let's be honest, losing your stuff is annoying. And having a big, embarrassing label with your name and phone number on it isn't exactly the coolest solution either.
So I came up with I Lose Everything.
A better way to get your stuff back.
Instead of an embarrassing label, I created a unique, discreet QR code that can be stuck onto the things you really don't want to lose.
Your bag. Your water bottle. Your headphones. Your charger. Your PE kit. Basically… anything you have a habit of leaving somewhere. 😂
If someone finds your stuff, they simply scan the QR code. They can tell us what they've found and where they've found it, and you get a notification so you know your stuff has been found and where you can safely collect it.
Three PE bags down
And there's another reason I wanted to make it. I realised how much stuff we replace when we lose it.
Last year, I was three PE bags down.
That's three bags.
Three sets of school kit.
And three pairs of trainers.
That's a lot of stuff that didn't need replacing if I'd just been able to find the original!
So I started thinking: what if getting our stuff back could also mean creating less waste?
Every time we find something we've lost instead of replacing it, we're potentially saving another item from being bought, used and eventually thrown away.
So I Lose Everything isn't just about finding your stuff. It's about keeping things in use for longer, reducing unnecessary waste and making a small difference to the environment. 🌱
- Created because I lose things.
- Built because I wanted a better solution.
- Designed to be simple, discreet and actually something teenagers would use.
And hopefully… my mum won't be buying another PE bag anytime soon. 😎
